The Kigali subsidiary
TACTIS Limited, the Rwandan subsidiary of the TACTIS group, has been based in Kigali since 2019. It serves as the group's centre of expertise for Sub-Saharan and East Africa, covering the full value chain of digital infrastructure projects.
From Kigali, it operates in more than thirty African countries, working with governments, regulatory authorities, telecom operators, investors and international development finance institutions. From Gambia to Madagascar and from Ethiopia to Zambia, this reach is built on a network of local partners and a practical understanding of each market.
Projects led from Kigali span fixed and mobile networks, national and cross-border backbones, national digital strategies, data centres and smart cities. They draw on technical, economic, financial, regulatory and data science expertise, brought together within multidisciplinary teams.
Backed by the parent company in Vincennes and the Casablanca office, the subsidiary combines methods proven on major international programmes with a detailed command of the region's institutional frameworks. This dual grounding allows it to approach a project with the standards of an international firm while accounting for the realities on the ground.
Its teams are involved throughout the life of a project, from upstream studies to final acceptance of the works. This continuity avoids the breaks between design and delivery, where schedules and quality are most often lost.
