Casablanca, a connected city

Casablanca's international reputation continues to grow, inevitably giving rise to traffic and urban security issues. To address these challenges, Tactis and CeRyX Trafic System were entrusted by Casa Transport SA with the project management of the Casablanca Central Station, includingthe management of 200 traffic light intersections, 500 video surveillance sites, as well as the IT and network infrastructure required for their operation.

Project Management Assistance

Dynamic control of 200 traffic light intersections

As urban populations grow, traffic in major cities becomes increasingly dense. Traffic in major global cities such as Casablanca is a challenge for attractiveness, public health, and economic reasons.

Adapt traffic management in real time

Prioritize the circulation of public transport and priority vehicles

Dimensioning and redesigning complex intersections

Fluidify traffic in Casablanca

Reduce travel times in the city

Deployment of 500 video surveillance sites

As urban security challenges grow in Africa, Europe, and around the world, the Safe City component of the project will facilitate the work of Casablanca's security forces for the benefit of citizens. In addition, the cameras will support traffic management to help improve traffic flow:

Improve the security of public spaces and detect abnormal situations

Centralize video streams to speed up complaint processing

Optimize agent travel

Using cameras as smart sensors to serve the city

Know the traffic in Casablanca in real time

Supervision center: towards centralized management of the city

Within a central urban monitoring station that will collect all traffic and video surveillance data, operators will be responsible for remotely controlling all connected equipment. They will be able to see and act on the city:

Control the cameras from the command center

Remotely manage traffic lights at an intersection in a congested area

Know the operating status of the equipment

Optimize maintenance interventions

Improve traffic flow by acting on difficult routes
