After working for more than 20 years with manufacturers and telecommunications operators, he joined Tactis in 2014 to manage major infrastructure projects through the Tactis Engineering subsidiary in the French and emerging markets (the African continent in particular).
He is an expert in the architecture of large fixed and mobile telecommunication networks.
Frédéric Landrin is responsible for the activity of Tactis Engineering.
He joined the group in April 2014 and is specialized in auditing (passive and active), network engineering, project management and field operations.
He has monitored many network deployment projects: radio-relay links, unbundling (DSLAM), transport and access (DWDM, SDH, WDM, ATM, xDSL), civil engineering and fiber optics, sheath sharing, and infrastructure (pylons, shelters, energy, etc.).
He has headed the technical departments (responsible for the deployment, R&D, engineering, GIS and operation of more than 3,000 sites in France and Africa, with a team of 35 people) and the maintenance departments of several operators.
He has lived abroad (Tunisia, Benin) on several occasions and has carried out numerous export operations.
From April 2015 onwards, Frédéric has been in charge of the National Fiber Optic Backbone Deployment Supervision and Control Mission in Guinea Conakry. This project, awarded to HUAWEI, involves the deployment of 4,000 km of fiber optics and associated transmission equipment.
