ACA in the energy innovation-based Smart Périgord project.
The Dordogne Departmental Energy Association (SDE 24) is comprised of 546 municipalities, and is responsible for energy (electricity and gas) distribution and public lighting.
Since 2015, Tactis Innovation Services has been assisting the SDE 24 in the definition and implementation of its « Smart Périgord » strategy. The aim of this strategy is to deploy innovative digital projects and services throughout the territory in the fields of renewable energies, energy storage and street lighting, among others: smart grids, Li-Fi, electromobility, energy self-supply, etc.
Three locations with different characteristics (the Greater Périgueux conurbation, the Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère municipality and the Neufont lake) will be subject to smart grid experiments, with a view to implementation throughout the entire territory.
The involvement of local players, including start-ups, constitutes one of the key factors for the success of this project. This is why in September 2016, Tactis Innovation Services launched a public call for contributions on the Smart Périgord project: more than 40 qualified responses have been collected this way.
