Yann Jaffré

Associate Director in charge of International Development in the telecommunications and energy sector.

Yann Jaffré is graduated from Télécom Paris Tech (1990), INSEAD, IMD and SRI (Standford Research Institute).

He began his career at Lucent Group in France and then for the Nortel Group in product development and commercial development for France and Europe.
In 2000 co-founded an xDSL operator positioned on the enterprise market.
In 2002, he joined Swisscom as Strategy and Business Development Director for its mobile subsidiary. He was in charge of the strategic plan, process redesign and M&A projects for the group in Switzerland and Eastern Europe.

In 2007, he joined SFR as Director for Technology Strategy, in charge of geomarketing, setting up the FTTH for SFR, then purchasing 3G and 4G frequencies and ad-hoc projects. In 2013, he became Director of Interconnection and Economic Studies for the SFR group in charge of relations with the incumbent operator.

Since June 2015, he has been leading interim and advisory missions in the field of TMT in Europe, Africa and MEA. He also intervened in the creation of an alternative operator in electricity.

He joined Tactis Group in 2017 as Associate Director in charge of international development in the telecommunications and energy sector.

During his time at SFR, he was also a representative for SFR on the France THD coordination committee, which examines the deployment files of public initiative networks with a view to obtain funds from the FSN.
