Franck Abihssira

Network and computer engineering training (ESI SUPINFO Paris Promotion 1988) and Specialized Master in Architecture and Network Administration of CERAM in Sophia-Antipolis (now SKEMA Business School, Promotion 1989), completed by a Bouygues Executive mini -MBA at INSEAD.

He started his at Bouygues Group in 1989. He joined IB2 Technologies, a subsidiary of Bouygues and IBM France, as Network Architect Engineer and then Sales Director.

From 1997 to 1998, he joined Bouygues Group’s General Management as Strategic Director for Fixed Telecommunications and participated in the creation of 9 Telecom Entreprise, a subsidiary of Telecom Italia and Bouygues, and became its Commercial Director.

In 1998, he launched the internet access provider WorldOnline France, a subsidiary of Bouygues Telecom, TF1 and WorldOnline NV, as Marketing and Commercial Director.

From 2000 to 2003, he was appointed CEO of e-TF1, TF1 Group’s Internet and multimedia subsidiary. Then, from 2003 to 2006, he joined TPS as Deputy General Manager, TF1 Group’s Pay TV platform, in charge of marketing, sales and development, and the strategic ADSL TV partnership with France Telecom.

In July 2006, he joined Bouygues Telecom as Director of Fixed Internet Development in charge of defining the fixed-mobile convergence strategy for the Enterprise market, and then took on the project management of the launch of Bouygues Telecom in October 2018. In June 2009, he defined and launched the first “quadruple play” offer on the French market.

From April 2009 to March 2014, he was Director of Content, Services and Broadband Internet Offers (Fixed and Mobile). In February 2012, he was promoted to the Executive Committee of Bouygues Telecom.

In October 2014, he created the consulting firm MOFS Consulting.

In December 2016, he joined the Advisory Board of Celeno, a technology leader in WiFi hardware and software solutions.

In October 2017, he joined Tactis group as Associate Director in charge of operators and investors.

During his time at Bouygues Telecom, he was also Chairman of the French Association of Mobile Multimedia (AFMM), member of the Board of Directors of Buyster (subsidiary of Atos, Orange, SFR and Bouygues Telecom) and Chairman of Darty Telecom acquired in 2013.
